Its a natural disaster here in Queensland



HI THERE... THOUGHT I WOULD TOUCH BASE TO SAY WE ARE PRETTY WET HERE IN QUEENSLAND.  ALTHOUGH NOT FLOODED, WE EXPERIENCED STRONG WINDS THAT SNAPPED OUR BACK FENCE IN TWO, AND LEFT US WITHOUT POWER FOR TWO DAYS.

SO I APOLOGIZE FOR NOT BEING AROUND LATELY- SO MUCH IS GOING ON, I HOPE TO GET THINGS BACK TO NORMAL SHORTLY.

LUCKILY ENOUGH, WE ONLY LOST ALL OUR PERISHABLE FOOD, UNLIKE MANY OTHERS WHO HAVE LOST EVERYTHING - SOME FOR A SECOND TIME IN TWO YEARS.

MOTHER NATURE HAS BEEN RATHER CRUEL LATELY, HOPEFULLY LIFE FOR THOSE LESS FORTUNATE THAN US CAN BE RESTORED TO WHAT IT WAS BEFORE 2011 AND NOW 2013.

THANKS FOR THE UNDERSTANDING.

PLEASE STAY SAFE... THE STORM IS HEADING SOUTH INTO SYDNEY NOW, SO IF YOU ARE AFFECTED BY FLOODS, STAY INSIDE, DONT GO SIGHT SEEING- ITS TOO DANGEROUS!!!

    Hi Tania, hope things settle back to normal asap. We've had high winds and lashings of rain after the snow but nothing like yours over there. Keep safe hun.
