Tutorial on Tri Fold Card using cm not inches

hello thanks for stopping by tonight. I thought I would share a template of how I do my tri fold cards. Many I have seen are in inches, but in Australia we use cm's so I have done up a quick drawing above of your cut lines and measurements.
Take a piece of bazzil and cut it down to 30cm by 30 cm. Cut this in half giving you two 15cm x 30cm cards. I like to make my cuts first as I dont like to score throught the "T" piece. so (at about the 10cm and 20cm mark) measure down 4cm (these are your guide points for your cutting line)....line those points up and cut from 5cm to 25cm ....turn your card around and do the same for the other side. get your scorpal (or scoring tool) out and scor at the 5cm mark- BUT ONLYscor down to the cuts! then score at the 10cm and 20cm going completely from top to bottom. again, with the last scor (at 25cm), you are only going to scor to the cuts. Fold along the scors and viola ....a tri fold card!

I am not the best person at describing things, but hopefully by looking the the picture you will make sense of what I mean! Please feel free to message me for anything you dont understand. Thansk for popping by XOX Tania

greeting card with tri fold pocket

Hello Thanks for stopping by my blog tonight. I was just cruising around you tube looking for inspiration and came across Dawn5377's channel. she does this cute little pocket card which I have done here, but I have added my own little twist. Check out her link she is awesome!. Here I have a stamped image of Penny Black's "sweet Hedgehog" on the front. The sentiment is from a kaiser clear mini set. The large flower is cut using my Tim Holtz Tattered florals die, and the little pink flowers are from Wild Orchid crafts. I have attached the flowers to a circle cut using the scalloped circle spellbinder nestie. The pearl dots are using liquid pearls. Thanks for stopping by tonight XOX Tania

I would like to enter this card into top tip tuesday challenge of anything goes

TOP TIP: use liquid pearls instead of self adhesive ones- they work out much cheaper, and you can make heart shapes and ovals and cover them with glitter!

please welcome Gracie our new kitten

I'd like to introduce you to Gracie our new addition...As you can see she has settled in well, taking over the lounge room and computer chair :0) She is a Lilac point Burman breed and has the most beautiful blue eyes that you cant get mad at...even when she spread all the xmas wrappings everywhere after I'd bagged them all up!!! after a long hard day of sleeping and getting up to mischief, this is her usual spot- on the chair next to mine in my craft room- oh what a life!!! she is adorable and we hope to have many years of love from her...the kids are working on loving her to death LOL!!!

friendship card

Another card from my stampology "Silhoutte Blossoms" set. This time pink liquid pearls were used. I love this sentiment which is a Verses stamp aptly named "breath of kindness". A nice quickie- simple and cost effective :0) XOX Tania

happy new year + a birthday card

Hello!! And a big MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone. Boy 2011 sure was exciting...we moved into our new home, my two beautiful babies started prep, lots of health issues (which I have told them I'll have no more of that in 2012 LOL!) a new kitten to the household, and of course, my blog which I hope has been sucessful and you have all enjoyed browsing through :0) I have been busy making my calendars and doing my market stall every now and then, but tonight, I sat down and did a couple of cards with my new set from stampology called "silhouette Blossoms". I purchased these from Arnolds, my favourite scrapping store (BTW they have moved to "The Zone" at Rothwell up near Mr Toys) and was inspired by some cards there using liquid pearls....here's my take on them. I have used magnolia's Doohickey Fence Die, some blue liquid pearls and some Glamour Dust. The sentiment is a clear stamp from set unknown. Basic cardstock to matt.
Take care be safe XOX Tania

I am entering this into the Simon Says Stamp Challenge my first for the year. check out the other entries- from what I've seen so far they are pretty good!!!
