Golden Anniversary Card

Here is a card commissioned to celebrate 50 years of marriage.  I used shiny gold card stock (which looks like copper in the photo) for the matting and the swirl topper (joy crafts die) as well as the insert.  The die cuts inside are Tattered lace sentiments, the numbers are from a set of My Favorite Things dies.  The verse on the front is a mixture of stamps I masked off as my customer wanted the word blessing or blessed in it. flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts available here. butterfly is hand stamped on to acetate, glitter embellished and cut out.

Saturated Tilly Fairy

Good morning, thanks for stopping by. Please meet Tilly Fairy.  she is my newest addition to my Saturated Canary library (she has been available for some time and I could drool no longer)  This is my first attempt at coloured hair- I am more a traditionalist when it comes to hair, but thought I would step outside my comfort zone with her :-) The birdhouses are from my new favourite die- Tattered Lace birdhouse row (available here) and I have use the lala lands heart banner die.  paper is from a kaisercraft pad and rosette ribbon is from my stash.  acetate butterfly is made by moi :-)

Saturated Canary's May

Good afternoon. Well I am starting to get back into my card making after what seems an eternity of recovery!  Thats understandable when you think of all the beautiful new images over at Saturated Canary it's hard to stop yourself!  This is the beautiful May from the 2015 bundle.... my second entry for the spring GDT call... and you should see the quality of entries! This is a pretty basic card- I have not used many die cuts... but you can have too much of a good thing sometimes ;-)  I used the magnolia swirl and the memory box butterfly die cut.  I made the pearl dangle charm and used WOC flowers (and yes I will pull out my finger and get them loaded onto my website sometime soon :-( )

C 0, 1, 3 (dotted surrounds)

This was the first time I used E 95 for the darker skin shading on the hairline and ears and it only took a very thin line, but the effect was quiet nice :-)

a card for the new year woohoo!!! Saturated Canary Cerridwen

Good morning! Well it seems like years since I posted a card here! thanks for sticking with me. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with lots of love and laughter. Here's hoping the new year will be prosperous for all :-)

 Well last year ended a bit hard for me... as some might be aware, I suffer from crohn's diease and have been dealing with it for over 20 years now.  Well at the start of December, I had to have an operation to remove the affected bowel.  I am now on the road to recovery, still sore, but it has slowed me enough to do up a couple of cards :-)

This gorgeous image is a discontinued digi from Saturated Canary called Cerridwen.  I think I hit the criteria for this card... my friend wanted for her mum a birthday card.  Her mum's fav colours are purple and green and she loves butterflies and flowers.  I used dies from memory box, tattered lace, joy crafts and magnolia.  flowers are of course WOC- which you can now get from my online store www.acraftersheaven.com.au .
