Bundle of cards- Just Inklined, Delicious Doodles, Magnolia, Sylvia Zet Whimsy,

Hi there! Thanks for stopping by :-) My apologies again for my absence- I wouldn't have thought a new baby could make the days so much shorter :-) So I thought I would upload a few pic of some cards I have done at once :-)

Below is a golden Retriever image by Just Inklined.  It was made for a customer who wanted a white only card.  I needed to add a little copper colour to define the image, but mainly kept to white. I embossed plain white card and used white flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.  Die cuts are Spellbinders, Tim Holtz, Magnolia and Joy Crafts. The little dangle charm is handmade.

Below is an image by Delicious Doodles called spitfire.  I needed no colour for this image and kept the card quiet neutral for a man.  dies used are from Heartfelt Creations and Cheery Lynn. The layers and printed paper is from a Prima pad - Engraver collection.  I stained up some muslin cloth with distress inks and used charms from ebay and Nini's Things from facebook

Below is Tilda with many hearts. I used Desert Sand ink by memento to create a no lines effect.  I used dies from Magnolia, La La Lands, Joy Crafts and Tim Holtz.  DP is Kaiser Craft pad called Lavender Haze. Flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts and charm is from Nini's Things. Sorry I did not keep copic colours.

available to purchase https://www.etsy.com/au/listing/186468473/handmade-boxed-magnolia-tilda-friend-or?

Below is a digi image by Sylvia Zet called Goldie. sentiment is Whimsy notables I have used die cuts from memory box and Tim Holtz. Flowers forom Wild Orchid crafts and i have scattered some starfish around that I picked up off my cousins wedding's table decorations (cant throw out good embellishments!!). DP is Bo Bunny Prairie Chic.

Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. Paper is also Magnolia.

Criss Cross Card using Magnolia's Japanese Tilda

Hello! Boy it has been a long time since I've had time to do crafting and blogging, but have been able to get a few of these criss cross cards done.  something a little different than the standard open out card- I got the instructions from the talented Bev Rochester here.  I coloured up Magnolia's Japanese Tilda and have been practicing my colouring with the help of classes from Alyce of Kit and Clowder. Still not the best, but getting there :-)  I glued a big bow for the pull out part of the card.  the beads are threaded on to a piece of tiger wire which I threaded through the bow and secured with a silver crimp. Paper is from Bo Bunny's Serenity pad. The swirl is a magnolia die cut. Flowers and the cute resin butterflies are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Copic colours used:

Magnolia Secretive Tilda and some exciting news

Good morning! WOW it has been forever since I've posted here! I have been super busy the last couple of months, but the best achievement I have made is falling pregnant with my third baby (second pregnancy)!!! We are so super excited and so are the kids.... due on the 1st of September, I am 14 weeks pregnant :-)

I have been working on a couple of cards... this one is a pull out step card using a magnolia image called Secretive Tilda.  I like this design of card because you only use the one design paper.  I have used sheets from a Bo Bunning pad called Prairie Chic Collection. The flowers and chandeliers are WOC, the dragonfly is cut using a Cheery Lynn die.  The little butterflies are the punch outs from my Martha Stewart pop up butterfly edger.  The friendship stamp is from whimsy cut with the coordinating die.  the little banners are from a sheet of die cuts (sorry, not sure of brand).  I have tied off the banner with some divine twine

Hope you like it :-) Check out Southern Girls Challenge this week, they are asking to see banners or pennants on your creations.  Hope I have inspired some creativity in you. Stay safe XOX Tania

magnolia bride and bridesmaid take 2

Good afternoon.  A different take on my previous card using the same magnolia image of a bride and bridesmaid.  I have followed an autumn coloured theme to suit challenges over at WOC and Papertake weekly (even though in Australia we are in spring).  I have followed a sketch by Arlana over at Sweet Sketch Wednesday.

These are papers from my new Prima pad called Romance Novel and the paper is rich and old fashioned.... I think would be perfect for those who do shabby chic.  Flowers are of course WOC and the hat pin is made by me :0)

I would like to enter into the following challenges:
Sweet Sketch Wednesday: Sketch by Arlana
Wild Orchid Crafts: Autumn Colours
Papertake Weekly: A Hazy shade of Autumn

A close up of the image and the shimmer of the dress (glimmer mist painted on with water brush)
And the inside (sentiment is by Stampin up! not sure of the set name)

Magnolia Bride and Bridesmaid

DONT FORGET TO ENTER MY CANDY CELEBRATING 50 FOLLOWERS... CLICK ON THE PICTURE ABOVE AND LEAVE A COMMENT

Good evening thanks for stopping by! I have a beautiful magnolia image I have coloured here with my copics called Bride and Bridesmaid.  Thought I would give white on white a go.  I have followed a sketch from Sunday Sketch and Stamp  It is really difficult to see the elements of this layout because the white blends in, but I HAVE followed the sketch trust me LOL!!!  Lots of things going on here: I have used sentiments from Whimsy called Celebration Circle pennants, cut with my scallop circle die, embossing folders from cuttlebug (hearts) and couture creations (walrus and carpenter).  The butterfly is from Cheery Lynn and the flowers are Kaisercraft and WOC.  Brads are Kaiser craft.  Ribbon and lace from stash. I have splashed around some stickles, liquid pearls, glimmer mist (see note a bit further down) and some dimension magic.  The white glitter twirls in the flowers I bought from the local $2 shop.

I would like to enter into the following challenges:
Dream valley: Celebrations
Divas by Design: Lovely Layers (minimum 4 layers)
Simon Says Stamp: Emboss It
Magnolia Down Under: White on White
Moving along with the times: Girly Prim and Proper
Allsorts: song inspired theme (chapel of love)

I took the pic below to show the glimmer of the dress.  I found that spritzing with glimmer mist got everywhere EXCEPT where I want it, so I get a water brush and dip the brush part in my glimmer mist and paint it on- goes on perfectly with one stroke! DONT fill the pen reservoir with your glimmer liquid- the fine glimmer particles get caught in the nib! here is a pic of what I am talking about (I bought mine from Riot art store)

Pretty plain and simple inside for a message. Thanks for stopping by. Stay Safe XOX Tania.

magnolia tilda with lace hearts sketch by Sam

Hi there! thanks for stopping by.  Well it is a wet miserable cold day here in (sunny) Queensland so what a perfect day to stay inside and make a card!! (although I dont really need weather as an excuse haha!!)  I have followed a sketch by Sam over at Sunday Sketch and Stamp.  I have used the lovely magnolia stamp "Tilda with lace Hearts" and coloured her with copics... you can get magnolia stamps and products here.  The sentiment and flower frame stamp are from sets of clear inkadinkado stamps. The lovely brads and rose are from Wild Orchid Crafts.  The pearl brads were originally white and I coloured them with copics to match my colour theme...I love that I can do this with copics.  The darling little dragonfly is cut using Cheery Lynn's dimensional dragonfly die...you can get them  here plus tons of other awesome stuff!  The beautiful paper is from a Prima pad called Fairy Belle (designed by Jodie Lee) I got this, the tiny pearls (which I have coloured as well) the organza ribbon and the yellow daisy (folded in half) from my LSS Arnolds.  I have, of course, splashed some stickles around LOL!

Japanese Tilda with Bo Bunny Serenity paper

Hi there! thanks for stopping by.  This is Japanese Magnolia.  I'm not happy with her skin, but after my first couple of efforts colouring with red copics, I am happy with the red gown.  The paper is from a Bo Bunny stack called "Serenity collection".  I really like these papers, quiet an oriental feel.  I have done some swirls with liquid pearls, which you can see in the bottom picture.  The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts which I have sprayed some of the white roses with orange glimmer mist and touched the edges of the petals with a red copic.

A short and sweet post this time, It's getting late so am off to bed :0)

Magnolia Romantic Tilda- Sketch by Francesca

Hello! Thanks for stopping by.  I haven't inked my magnolia stamps up for such a long time, and thought "Romantic Tilda"fitted the theme of a warm sunny day well.  Not usually colours that I would work with, but over at Simon Says stamp, they have a photo inspiration by Joy as their challenge. Most of Joy's photos are yellow and my instant thought is summer, and one particular photo has some beautiful sunfowers, which suited my paper from a Prima Pad called "Sun Kiss".  The sketch I have used is a challenge over at Sunday Sketch and Stamp.  The sentiment is one of my favs by Imaginations. It is cut wwith a spellbinders lacey circle. The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. Some stickles, dimension magic, glamor dust and adhesive dewdrops finished it off.

I would like to enter in the following challenges:

magnolia book card thingy hehe (with a little tutorial)

Hello!! I was so excited when I got this book card thingy finished (well that's what I call it hehe!)  I saw this type of paper project over at Malin's  and remember thinking..."How awesome!!". Mine is nothing on hers, but I had to try making one!!!  I have used two magnolia images for this one- Fancy Romantic Tilda and Longing Tilda.  As you can tell, I am still getting used to colouring with copics...... I would like to say I am getting better, but I am still struggling a little.  BUT... I don't think it looks TOO bad right???  I have cut the lacey circles with my spellbinder die, used flowers from wild orchid crafts and ribbon from stash.  I have been wanting a Martha Stewart butterfly punch, but with postage cost, just haven't been able to afford it, so I went down to Sam's Warehouse (like a $2 shop) and got this beautiful butterfly  punch for $15.  The swirls are cut with my cricut and I've lathered it with pearls and stickles.
I would like to enter into the following challenges:
Wild Orchid Crafts: anything goes
Cute Card Thursday: a touch of sparkle

When you open the inside, this is what you get..... some more flowers and crystal chandeliers from WOC and the beautiful longing tilda.  this next picture gives a better idea of the boxed card which stops the flowers from getting squashed.
thanks for stopping by, please read further if you would like to know how I did this book
Stay Safe XOX Tania

so, do you want to know how I did this box??
You need two A3 sheets of 600gsm multiboard (I bought mine from officeworks and it comes in packs of 25). One sheet you need to cut 6 x 14cm squares.  From the second sheet, you need to cut a strip 14cm x 29.5cm (the width of the sheet) put this aside for later... now, cut the rest of that sheet into 4 more 14cm squares.  You want to take your squares and cut the centre out of them to make a frame.....I have cut a frame depth of 2cm around.... you should have 10 "frames".  It doesn't matter if your square frames are not perfectly the same dimensions- it adds to the book effect! On one frame glue your patterned cardstock- let dry, turn upside down and trim around the frame.  Glue all your frames together, stacking them on top of each other trying to keep them neat, but not necessarily perfect!  With your 14 x 29.5cm strip, you need to "cut to score" 14.3cms from each edge- this will leave you with 1cm in the centre for the spine of the book.  Fold the book covers in, glue in your stack of frames on the bottom of the book and you are ready to decorate once dry.
Hope this makes sense

photo box with Longing Tilda from magnolia

good afternoon!!! well the weather here in QLD is wet and wild....flash flooding once again- to think a week ago we were dry as a chip! those poor people in Brisbane who got flooded out last year are getting hit again :0( I guess that means I am stuck here at home, child free and lots of time to craft yeehaa!!!! so, onto my creation for today....I should never have started with chipboard, because now I cant stop!!!!! this is a chipboard picture box I made....the lid holds it all together, then when it is removed it opens up. the beautiful paper is from little yellow bicycle, but I have cut off the name of it :0( The other paper is a kaisercraft page called "potion". I have added some rhinestone bling inside from kaisercraft. The white exterior is embossed with one of my new folders from couture creations called "Walrus & Carpenter". The adorable image is magnolia's "Longing Tilda". I have added white spots to her dress with my white signo pen and her hair has a little sparkle courtesy of my gelly roll pen colour clear star. coloured with prismas.

Thanks for stopping by...praying this rain does not cause the heartache it did last year

Gift Giving Tilda Magnolia

Good morning... Today I wanted to share with you a new found love of mine- magnolia stamps.  Well I have many new found loves, and magnolia is one of them :0)  This lovely girl is gift giving Tilda.  These stamps are deeply etched and stamp up wonderful!
paper flowers and stamps are from Arnolds . I have also bought Magnolia stamps from Simon Says Stamp they are an American company with great service, fast international postage @ reasonable rates. Both the lacey circle and squares have been used from spellbinders. Printed paper is from Magnolia Ink "Once Upon A Time" Angel Love.

The flower arrangement: Paper Flowers from Arnolds- I clipped the extra wire from the stem and curled it around the insert of a ball point pen- very effective dont you think?? The beaded things are string of pearls (they are on a type of fishing line available @ spotlight) I cut them and removed a pearl so I only had one pearl at the end of the line.  I dipped the pearl in tacky glue them dipped that into a tub of clear micro beads (I use the brand "Barbara Trombley's Art Glitter") I get that @ my LSS Arnolds as well.  I had some clear red heart buttons laying around that I've had for years  that I also used.
