Elisabeth Bell "Planting Some Love"

Hi there! thanks for stopping by!  Today I pulled out my memento and stamped an image for a change LOL (instead of digi prints!)  This beautiful little one is by Elisabeth Bell called "Planting some Love"  OMG she is so cute!I am persisting with my copics and adding more to my collection each fornightly pay....so much so that here in Oz there is a promotion to get a free copic pen storage bag if you collect 30 tokens (one token per marker) and I have just sent away for mine! cant wait to get it.  And to make copics even better, they are on facebook!

So, onto my card.  I went shooping at my LSS Arnolds today and picked up a divine paper pad by Prima called "Fairy Belle"designed by Jodie Lee.  It is gorgeous! The butterfly and hat pin are OOAK made by my- how to make them are under my tutorials tab if interested.  The large pink flower is a Kaisercraft, the small cherry blossom flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.  Some ribbon, pearls and stickles finish off the card.

I would like to enter into the following challenge:
Papertake weekly: 3 (flowers) 2 (ribbons) 1 (butterfly)
creatalicious Challenge: anything goes
Wild Orchid Challenge: anything goes

Thanks for dropping by Stay Safe XOX Tania

Sarah Kay friendship card

Goodmorning! I hope you are all keeping well...and for the aussies that are being hammered by mother nature, I hope you are safe and DRY! I was soooo excited yesterday when I finally recieved my grand spellbinders...I won a scalloped circle set and a labels four set on ebay for a quarter of the price we pay here...so I was super ecstatic!!!!....so I couldnt wait to use them and did this circle easel card. I have used my all time Sarah Kay favourite "spring is back"..coloured of course with prisma pencils....I am yet to afford copic markers but if I win lotto, my poor prismas will no doubt take a back seat LOL! the paper is new from Arnolds here at Rothwell... Authentique Journey collection called "explore". The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. The hat pin is self made. The sentiment is a rub on from KaiserCraft....I wish they would make stamps with these sentiments....even if they are only digi ones 'cause they are absolutely beautiful. For the drops of pearl I have actually used dimensional fabric paint...I find that liquid pearls "pits" a little...perhaps it is our hot humid climate as it is drying??? but it works for me! Thats it from me for now, take care, stay safe XOX Tania

valentines gift box ....plus box instructions

Good evening, hope you are all well. I have another box tonight, this time using the gorgeous image called "buzz in the air" from Penny Black. A simple red and black theme for birthday or valentines day. The sentiment is one of my favourites as it is so versatile from Imaginations!. The large flower I have made from the tattered florals Tim Holtz die, and the cute little hip rose buds are from wild orchid crafts. The larger rose is a kaiser flower (from memory???). The hats pins are my own creations and the little heart charm I got from ebay. A little tip: buy cheap chains from kids jewellery for the chain- much cheaper than by the metre at craft stores....you can even get them cheap with little trinkets on them that you can use on your cards! The black and white paper is more like material that I got from a closing down sale of one of our local scrapbooking shop.... a snapped up all that was available- for 20c a 12" sheet- who wouldn't!!!!!Ribbon is from Craft Queen. As usual, stickles, glamour dust and dimension magic is also used :0) I make all my boxes my self....this one here is from an A4 peice of 1.8mm chipboard from ebay. I etch 3cm in from each edge, cut out the corners and stick together with framing tape. The lid is done exactly the same way, only you need to etch 2.5cm in from each edge so the lid fits over the base.
Thanks for stopping by stay safe XOX Tania

I am entering this box into the following challenges:
Dream Valley Challenge using animals (hedgehog)
Penny Black Challenge using crafty bargains (chain, heart charm, paper)
The sweet stop sketches challenge: non-traditional valentines
Cupcake craft challenge: all you need is love

Take care XOX Tania

hat pins

Hi There again! (lots of posts from me today sorry!) thought I'd show you some of my hat pins I've been making and selling on ebay.  They are very sparkley and are adorable on cards.  Many may be wondering what I used to glue them...I tried the various types of bead glues and found they held them for a little while, but I couldn't be sure they would stand the test of time.  Hot glue on the ends looked aweful...so I actually use hot glue, but I glue the tinest amount between the end and 2nd from the end end bead (eg for the first pin glue between the silver bead and the purple glass bead- try and put your glue as close to the glass bead as you can)....then I get my heat gun tool and heat the hot glue to remelt it, as it is melting I push the end bead up to the next bead- the hot glue goes down the centre hole- some glue may be left on the beads- I just etch that off with my blade knife.
