Magnolia Oops

Thought I would put this one up for eye candy as I have lost all the details to this card.  The image is Magnolia "oops" stamped with memento Desert Sand for a lines technique.  Dies are memory box, Susana's Custom Art and Card, and Magnolia. Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. Paper is also Magnolia.

Elisabeth Bell "wishes" birthday card

Hello! Another of my new Elisabeth Bell images called Wishes.  I have coloured her up with copics.  The banners are from Whimsy Stamps called celebration circle pennants.  You can buy the dies to cut them out and layer them with frilly bases, but my bank account was looking a bit drab LOL! SO.. I used my spellbinder circle cutter and the smallest of the spellbinder lacey circles for the base.... works for me :0)  my ribbon is from my stash, as is the ribbon slider (I got these in a big lot and sell them at the markets (when I go) for 75c each- I also have the circle diamonte sliders too).  I am trying to get enough stuff collected to open an internet store and try and sell things as cheap as I can :0)  The moonstone brads are WOC I got last year (I bought something like ten jars in one hit to save on postage... but am working my way through them).  The flowers are also WOC, but I didnt have purple ones, so I spritzed my beige ones with glimmer mist, dabbing a darker purple on the edges.

HINT.... I tend to buy white or cream flowers so I can colour match them to my theme and it limits the amount of space I need with different colours of flowers. I do whole colours by misting them with glimmer mist, but if you just want to highlight the edges of your flowers, spritz with a clear glimmer mist like marshmallow or pearl.... then rather than misting the darker colour, remove the lid and using the straw (that connects to the lid part), dab ever so lightly onto the edges of your flowers... by moistening the flowers with the clear mist first, that allows the darker colour to kind of wick up the flower petal adding a realistic touch :0)

The papers are from my scrap box and are both Magnolia.

Good morning! phew it has been such a busy couple pf weeks since I went back to work, I have had absolutely no time to do any cards! This one is a card I have done for the Southern Girls team who are showcasing lovely images from Just some Lines.  This little lady is called fairy Keisha free fall. I have used some magnolia paper called "Fairy Tale Pink Rose"and Echo Park Paper called "Clover Meadow".  I have used a diamonte ribbon slider and placed moonstone brad from WOC in the centre of it.  Flowers are WOC too :0)  I have splashed around some stickles and Rhinestones and viola!!! I'm going to try and get another one or two cards done tomorrow on my day off, so hopefully wont be too much of a stranger :0)

Krista Smith Whispy fairy

Good afternoon. Today I have a new digi stamp I found by Saturated Canary (Krista Smith) called "Whispy". You can find digi's in her etsy shop here they do sell out quick, but be persistent because I find she does relist quickly. I'm totally in love with her big eyes- just captivating!!!
I went to my local scrapbooking shop Arnolds and couldn't resist buying my first copics.....I only bought a couple to test the waters ( here Ive used the aqua colours and purples) the rest of the colouring is using my prisma's. I will be buying more (a couple at a time- they can be very expensive- but well worth the effort) so cant wait to get skin tones and hair tones! The papers I used are magnolia and kaisercraft on aqua bazzil. The ribbon- its a secondhand piece- you know how you can get soaps and lotions in wire hanging baskets as gifts??? well this ribbon is off one of those from christmas!!!! the colours were just perfect :0) If I can recycle something I will!!!! The flowers are prismas and wild orchid crafts (the purple WOC were cream, but I coloured them with my copics (you cant do that with prismas LOL!!!). The centre of the bow is also from WOC and is delicious moonstone brad. Stickles and liquid pearls...viola!!!!!
I would like to enter in the following challenges:
Simon Says Stamp: Bingo- flowers, glitter, brads
