Delicious Doodles, Saturated canary and Just Inklined card bundle

Good afternoon. Well it has been a beautiful day here in Australia- Anzac Day- where we remember the fallen heroes who made this wonderful country the free country we live in today.

They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn;
At the going down of the sun, and in the morning,
 we will remember them.

I have a few cards to share with you today.

I would like to enter these cards into the following challenges:
Wild Orchid Crafts: 3 different flowers
Inky Chicks: Shabby Chic

Below is a saturated Canary image called Grow.  Dies I have used are from Magnolia, memory Box, Joy Crafts and Cheery Lynn. Flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts.

Below was an easter card for a customer. She sent me a picture and asked me if I could "do something like that" so I can not take full credit for the design (although I did change it up a bit) but i can not direct you to the original source as I do not know who it was.  The image is Just Inklined called Meadow Rabbit.  I basically found an egg shape on the net and draw it on my DP and then cut it out with fancy scissors.  I ruffled some organza ribbon added a large bow and flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Bundle of cards- Just Inklined, Delicious Doodles, Magnolia, Sylvia Zet Whimsy,

Hi there! Thanks for stopping by :-) My apologies again for my absence- I wouldn't have thought a new baby could make the days so much shorter :-) So I thought I would upload a few pic of some cards I have done at once :-)

Below is a golden Retriever image by Just Inklined.  It was made for a customer who wanted a white only card.  I needed to add a little copper colour to define the image, but mainly kept to white. I embossed plain white card and used white flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.  Die cuts are Spellbinders, Tim Holtz, Magnolia and Joy Crafts. The little dangle charm is handmade.

Below is an image by Delicious Doodles called spitfire.  I needed no colour for this image and kept the card quiet neutral for a man.  dies used are from Heartfelt Creations and Cheery Lynn. The layers and printed paper is from a Prima pad - Engraver collection.  I stained up some muslin cloth with distress inks and used charms from ebay and Nini's Things from facebook

Below is Tilda with many hearts. I used Desert Sand ink by memento to create a no lines effect.  I used dies from Magnolia, La La Lands, Joy Crafts and Tim Holtz.  DP is Kaiser Craft pad called Lavender Haze. Flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts and charm is from Nini's Things. Sorry I did not keep copic colours.

available to purchase https://www.etsy.com/au/listing/186468473/handmade-boxed-magnolia-tilda-friend-or?

Below is a digi image by Sylvia Zet called Goldie. sentiment is Whimsy notables I have used die cuts from memory box and Tim Holtz. Flowers forom Wild Orchid crafts and i have scattered some starfish around that I picked up off my cousins wedding's table decorations (cant throw out good embellishments!!). Top Tip Tuesday Guest Designer male card Spitfire Delicious Doodles

Good morning! Thanks for stopping by.  I was lucky to be picked as Top Tipper over at Top Tip Tuesday a few weeks ago, and was asked to be guest designer for their challenge this week.  The challenge is to use metal faux or real! So I have used some metal charms and wait for it... I have a done a male card. I KNOW! shock horror lol!!! I have used "spitfire" from Delicious Doodles, and didnt have to colour it at all- super simple!  The sentiment is a combination using a Popcorn bear sentiment and a Whimsy notables 2 outer frame stamp and cut with the notables 2 die. I used DP from two Prima pads- called "Cartographer"  and "engraver".  Die cuts are using magnolia swirl die, Cheery Lynn Gears die and Heartfelt Creations Layered Elegant Swirl die.  The charms are from Nini's Things on facebook.

Here's my top tip for the challenge: When distressing edges of your cardstock, ink the edges and distress whilst still wet.  Place the edge of what you are going to distress onto your table leaving about 1cm hanging over the edge of your table. Working from the centre of your cardstock and out to the corner, distress using your distressing tool. This way, your corners stay intact, and your paper will not get creases in it. The slight wetness left by the ink helps it “puff”up.

So now its your turn.... Pop over to Top Tip Tuesday and show us your metal! and while you're there, why not leave a tip to help us all craft a little easier and you could be the next Guest Designer?!

Thanks for stopping by. Stay Safe XOX Tania

Challenge time at Southern Girls with delicious doodles

Good evening! well it sure has been hot hot hot here in Queensland, with record temps for the month of december... we have suffered 38 degree celcius heat so was a good time to be indoors crafting :-) Its challenge time again over at The Southern Girls Challenge and this fortnight we are celebrating Summer. I know most of our neighbours are coming into winter, but here in Oz and NZ we are heading for summer, and its gonna be a hot one this year!!!

Once again we have the wonderful Delicious Doodles and The Paper Shelter sponsoring us, and I have chosen Lovey Dovey Sihoulette by Delicious Doodles.  I tried something very different for me, and that was brayering!  I brayered the paper prior to printing, tried a couple of times and after a few attempts, this is the end result.  I like the summery feel this card has, and my husband actually commented how nice it was! (he usually likes them, but only after I ask his opinion- but this time, he just come out and said that he liked it :0).  I used some random flower paper from my scrap box, some organza ribbon and a couple of mulberry flowers.  I finished it off with some orange rhinestones from my stash.

so pop on over to The Southern Girls Challenge and show us your summer creations (for those in colder climates, it might make you feel warm and cozy LOL!!!!) AND WHY NOT CHECK OUT ALL OF THE WONDER CARDS BY THE DESIGN TEAM FOR INSPIRATION!

delicious doodles red cardinal- southern girls xmas challenge time

Good morning! Well its a new challenge over at Southern Girls Challenge, and this fortnight we want to see Christmas projects.... easy peasy!!! Christmas will be here in no time, so why not take the opportunity to get those chrissy cards done and have the chance to win some awesome digis from Delicious Doodles- like this little cutie I have used for my card today.  She is called Red Cardinal, and colours up beautifully.

I have used a couple of different dies for this card- spellbinders ornate square die,
frostyville border die from memory box, Tim Holtz tattered florals die (for the red flower), and magnolia dookhickey christmas tree die. The holly paper is from a VERY OLD sheet- has no printing on the back so dont know the maker :0( I have used roses and hip rosebuds form WOC. I have glued three black pearls in the centre of the Tim Holtz flowers and glued some rhinestones onto bead caps that I flattened a bit.  The sparkly ribbon was from a gift years ago that I hoarded LOL!!

I would like to enter in to the following challenges:
Whimsy Inspires: Traditional christmas colouring
Papertake weekly: Anything Goes with a christmas option
Bearly Mine Challenges: Anything goes
Creative craft Challenges: Special Occassion- not birthday
Creative Inspirations: Red for remembrance day
Fussy and fancy Friday challenge: Pearls (the centre of the red flower) and flowers

Southern Girls Challenge tie a ribbon- delicious doodles daisies and butterflies

Good morning! Well its challenge time again over at Southern Girls, and this fortnight is an easy one... Tie a ribbon round it! You can use ribbon, twine, binding- anything really, as long as it comes from a spool!.  This fortnight we are sponsored by Delicious Doodles, and I have chosen to use their Daisies and Butterflies image- isn't it beautiful??!! I have 3d layered the image, and learnt a really neat trick from Mariska Van Der Veer  from Sending you a Little Smile.  She has done this awesome step by step tutorial on Wiff of Joy blog and although I didn't colour the bottom parts grey, I did use the the trick of colouring the edges in black- it really makes a difference! Check out both her blog and tutorial... her cards are simply divine and so much work goes into them!. The papers are enchanting girl from paper inklings. the butterfly dies are cheery lynn. NO flowers for this card... OMG.... shock horror LOL!!

so pop on over to the Southern Girls Challenge and join in in our ribbon challenge... cant wait to see what you come up with!

Delicious Doodles @ Southern Girls Challenge

Good Morning! thanks for stopping by.  Its challenge time over at Southern Girls, and this fortnight, we're asking you to show us your bling bling!!! easy right??!! Our sponsors are Pink Gem Designs and Delicious Doodles. I have chosen this wonder digi by Delicious Doodles called Mother's Love.  I have coloured her with copics using yellows so it suits both girl or boy. I cut her out using spellbinders labels 10.  The paper is from a beautiful prima pad called Fairy Belle. I have used flowers from WOC, charm from ebay, ribbon from stash.

See the rhinestone swirls??? I drool over these when I see them in the shops, but then see the price and have a coronary LOL! soooo.... I bought ONE pack and when I finished using it, I punched out the holes where each diamonte was stuck on the acetate (you can see where the pearls etc are as there is a circle indent on the acetate- I use a hammer and the punch part of an OLD eyelet setter).  Then when I want to add a swirl I use the acetate as a template, marking each hole with a small dot from a lead pencil .... I can custom make my swirls to fit the area then :0)

The sentiments are from a CC Design set by Amy R I got off ebay called Baby Sentiments and is cut using spellbinders fancy tags dies.

I would like to enter into the following challenges:
Bearly Mine: anything goes
Papertake weekly: Things that make you go AWWW
