Elisabeth Bell Cupcake

Hello! Long time no see!!! I have been super busy just with life, nothing really exciting happening, I just haven't had time to craft.  So today I locked myself in my craft room and whipped up this card :0).  It is sad news that the Belles and Whistles stamp store is closing :0(  They are selling off what is left of their stamps at 35% off... so I HAD to go shopping lol!!!  This cutie is called "cupcake".  Of course by the divine Elisabeth Bell, luckily, Elisabeth designs for other companies like Whimsy.   So I guess, one's loss is anothers gain... go get yourself a bargain!.  I have coloured her with copics, and used paper from my prima pad called "sun kiss"  and the circle paper is really glittery- not picked up well by my camera.  It is from My Mind's Eye called "Portobella Road- buddies". The sentiment is from a clear Kaiser Craft set.

I have used flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts and Prima.  I flattened out a metal bead cap and pushed a moonstone brad through it.  the flourish is from My Favourite things die.

I made this little dangle angel from beads and crystals.

The middle of the card finished like the front :0)

OK... so .... I bought this card stander (below) on the internet thanks to a friend sharing the link.  I have been searching forever for one of these- I didnt know what they were called..... WELL they are an Illuma-Lid candle accessory.  I couldnt resist and bought two one for me, one for my blog :0)

SOOOOO.... when I get to 50 followers, I have been gathering some candy and will be adding one of these to the pack!  spread the word, when I get to 50, I will put up some pics of the candy :0)

If you cant wait til I get 50 followers (it may be a while lol!!!) this is the link to where I got mine from.... For Ausie buyers, I recieved it in two days of purchase- so I can recommend their service!!

Southern Girls Challenge A Chipboard teapot holder for coasters

Good evening! thank for stopping by.  Well its time for another exciting challenge over at the southern girls challenge... chipboard- MY FAVOURITE!!!  Time has got by me this week and unfortunately I didnt get this to Southern Girls challenge in time for posting, but I made this project for their challenge this week.. The image is by Fred She Said and is perfect for the chipboard challenge.  You all know my love of chipboard, so loved doing this challenge.  I got the teapot template of the internet, and hand cut it using white chipboard from Office works.   I made a little box for the coasters to house in in between the two teapots.  The coasters are made with 1.8mm chipboard which I have cut with a spellbinder (well the spellbinder made an impression, by which I handcut the rest!) and then topped them with images from the  Dragonfly Flower Doodledallion DIGI SET by Fred She Said.  get yours here. I sealed the coasters with Jo Sonjas sealer, but I think you could use any sealer maybe something like Mod Podge????

I am sorry for the short and sweet post.  After a long week of doctors appointments, sick children and work thrown in, I'm absolutely wrecked! I hope to get some projects done this weekend- would be nice :0) Til next time Stay Safe XOX Tania

Christmas in..... August with LOTV... an advent calendar with a twist

Good evening, Thanks for stopping by.  I seem to have a love affair with chipboard, and am always trying out new things... this advent calendar takes the cake!  I have made this box from scratch using plain chipboard, hot glue and brown framer's tape.  Each drawer is a little fold up box .  I made four towers of six drawers, separated each of them with a triangular cone like thingy (a piece of chipboard scored into three equal sections, and stuck together with tape) and decorated to the max.  I then made the top by laying the drawer base onto chipboard, tracing around the base, adding 2cm to the front part and cutting out a topper.  I then made my flip top calendar, and acetate cone with pearl fabric paint, and a plitherer of adornments :0)
These are the things I have used to create this advent calendar:

Images I have used are from Lili of the Valley: Angelic Lute and Christmas Bears Sledge... you can get them here.
Flowers adn pearl brads are from Wild Orchid Crafts. You can get them here.
lots and lots of diamond dust!!!
lots and lots of chipboard!!
the numbers are handcut, and the wording "days until Christmas" is computer generated
I have used punches by Martha Stewart, spellbinders nestabilities (Fancy Tags Four??), cuttlebug die for the snowflakes
Hat pins I make myself
Kaisercraft sparklets in Cameo colour
Liquid pearls around the drawers
some lace from  my ever growing stash
little decorative head pins, pearls and rhinestone rondelles for the handles

Drawers are big enough to hold up to four little christmas chocolates/treats :0)

I would like to enter this in the LOTV ideas to inspire challenge : anything but a card.... I have used two (older but wonderful) images

Thankyou for taking the time to stop by, please fell free to leave some love... I try and reply to all messages and visit your blog too :0) Stay Safe XOX Tania

Penny Black Toadily birthday card

Good morning! thanks for stopping by.  phew work has been so busy and with the flu thats going around at the moment, I have done some extra shifts, which means my craft room has been neglected and so has my blog :0( I have had today off, which gave the chance to do some crafting YAY!!!  I am not normally a lover of green or frogs, but a friend of the family has a birthday today and she loves frogs, so thought I would get out of my comfort zone with this card.  Also if you pop over to Southern Girls Challenge this fortnight they want to see projects relating to water...and well...frogs LOVE water!!!  I have followed a sketch set by Dawny over at Papertake Weekly.  The cute little image is from a Penny Black clear set called "toadily". It is such a perfect size and is super cute with the lily flower.  I have added a square ribbon slider, moonstone brads from WOC, ribbon and a large daisy from stash.  The papers are: "Dancing Jewel" from KaiserCraft, "Market street happy birthday dictionary paper" from My Minds Eye, and "Vintage Market" from Adorn It.

I would like to enter into the following challenges:
PTW: sketch by Dawny
Bearly-Mine: anything goes

She was a challenge to colour- I am trying hard to work on my frills, and this image had plenty of them!!! Krista Smith "Jules"

Good morning...It was so nice today to be able to sit down and make a card. I have been oober busy the last couple of weeks, and today, I had give in to my withdrawals and make a card.  And what better image to use than a free one from Krista Smith!  I come by 4 free images from the super talented Ms Smith here.... you can get your this one plus others here.... Love free things, especially when I have spent so much in Saturated Canary's etsy and now her website- its nice when people reward their avid addicts LOL!!  BUT PLEASE PLEASE SUPPORT KRISTA BY BUYING HER DIGIS TOO AND NOT JUST TAKING THE FREEBIES!!! This beautiful little lady is called Jules...ooohhh I just want to eat her up she is so cute!!! I have coloured her with copics and added some dimension magic and glitter.  I found this pen called a "glaze"pen- its almost dimension magic but in a pen, and you can get fine detail with it and then sprinkle some diamond dust over it and it sticks.....Only problem that I dont like is that it tends to dry white....so it worked well here for me for the frills on her dress, but I cant use it to gloss up her eyes or lips :0(
Onto the Card..... I have followed a lovely sketch from Sunday Sketch and Stamp by Claire and have tried a new technique for (me anyway) by stitching the edges...still need to work on that- try and get my zigzag a little closer together :0).  The chequered paper is by Graphic 45 called "Peek a Boo" and the brown swirl paper is a Basic Grey paper called "Drama Mod".  I make the hat pins, I pop a moonstone brad from WOC inside a diamonte ribbon slider and added some flower from Kaiser Craft adn Wild Orchid Crafts.  The front sentiment stamp is from a Kaiser Craft set called freindship sentiments and the inside sentiment is from a Hot off the Press set called Expressions.

I would like to enter in the challenges:
Sunday Sketch and Stamp: sketch by Claire
PaperTake Weekly: All things Girlie
Bearly Mine Challenges: Girly Birthday
Crafts and Me: Ribbon and Bow
Moving Along with the Times: Pink, Pearly (in the hat pin) and pretty (the whole card lol)
CMC copic challenge group: anything goes with a twist if girly

Krista smith Zorana and a new technique with Copic Oz blogspot

Hi again!! Another Krista smith image for you, this time its Zorana the gypsy dancer.  I stuck with just blues this time and am happy with the overall result.  The paper is Authentique.  I have used Spellbinders Romantic Rectangle and MFT Dizzy Doily die.  Some dew drop pebbles, ribbon, stickles and the centre flower is a button with the back cut off.  The flower is three layers of paper petals by Green Tara.  I tried a new technique I learned over at Copic Oz blogspot with the pebbles....something I will work on, but happy with my first attempt :0).

Krista Smith.... Thank You

hello! thanks for stopping by today.  this little cutie is another from Krista Smith over at Saturated Canary called "Thankyou".  I have coloured her up with copics.  The bottom DP is from a Prima pad called "Fairy Belle", the flower DP is a My Minds Eye card called "Fiddlesticks You & Me Bloom paper".  I wasn't sure about putting purple and yellow together, but it kinda works and I am growing to like it! I have followed an awesome sketch from Creative Inspirations.  Flowers are from WOC with a litle colour added to cream flowers to match my design.  Ribbon and slider are from my stash. the cute little sentiment on the front is from a My Sentiments Exactly clear set called "a little birdie"- I cut the bird off the swirl part of the stamp.  The inside sentiment is from a set of stampin' up stamps (not sure of the name of the set).  The flourish die cut is called "Leafy Flourish" by My Favourite Things.  I have thrown around some pearls, stickles and dimension magic.

I would like to enter in to the following challenges:
